Those pesky loft insulation chaps are just mucking about doing surveys that waste everyone’s time!

Another 01904 number has been identified as a nuisance call by BT Protect. The caller didn’t bother leaving a message, which is a clear sign of a scam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

Rang me at twenty past eight on a Saturday morning! How outrageously inconsiderate – do they honestly believe anyone fancies chatting with the likes of them at such an ungodly hour? No message left, and true to form, a quick look on this site has uncovered yet another bunch of scoundrels up to their old tricks!

I received a call on my BT landline on 3rd August 2024 from the number 01904935025. Oddly enough, I didn’t utter a word, and neither did the caller. After a brief exchange of silence, they just disconnected abruptly. I've since alerted BT about this incident via their scam reporting portal. It certainly raises suspicion that there could be something nefarious at play here!

Absolute classic case of loft insulation trickery, this one! You can tell it's dodgy from the start; they kick off with some overly cheery 'Good morning, how's your day going?' then introduce themselves with some made-up name, claiming to be from energy companies serving your postcode. They start waffling on about issues with loft insulation and how damp and mould are a concern—sounds awfully convenient, doesn’t it? Their fake politeness and lack of knowledge about who they're ringing raises all sorts of red flags. It’s just a ploy, playing on vague concerns to try and pull a fast one on unsuspecting folks!
