Rang my landline thrice within just 45 minutes. Each time I answered, there was nothing but silence on the other end. I don’t possess caller ID, so if you have that facility, best to give them a wide berth as they’re definitely a bothersome nuisance!

Within the span of an hour, I tried reaching out to them on two occasions. They completely ignored my initial hello, and even when I raised my voice and exclaimed, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?", there was still no reply!

Received an unsolicited call from 0955 26 10 17 earlier today. The person on the line had a pronounced foreign accent. When I merely responded with a “hello” and held on, they decided to end the call abruptly. Quite the nuisance, really!

I received an unsolicited call today, 16.10.2017, from a young woman claiming to represent an Accident Claim Company. However, her name was mentioned so quickly that I couldn’t quite catch it. She had a thick accent, and it was evident she wasn't a native English speaker. To top it off, she addressed me by the wrong name and muddled my address as well. Interestingly, the name she used was identical to that in a previous cold call I received about three weeks ago, which I later discovered was a scam operation masquerading as Open Reach, originating from a number in South Wales. A quick search revealed that this number was linked to a local councillor, whose mobile number was listed. I decided to reach out to the councillor to inform them, and it turned out they were already aware of the situation. Apparently, they had been hacked and were facing charges from Virgin Media for thousands of calls made using their number. I was advised to report this to the police.
