I received a call from someone promoting a loan, but they insisted on receiving the initial payment before any funds could be released. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I fell victim to a rather dodgy operation using this number and ended up losing £2000. I applied for a loan and initially, they seemed genuine, even accepting my application. However, once they requested my first payment-which I promptly made-they then went on to instruct me to purchase iTunes vouchers and send them the codes. I foolishly complied and, before I knew it, they were asking for even more cards. It’s absolutely infuriating! As someone with a disability, the constant barrage of calls from them, claiming they're based in York, has been overwhelming. Their other contact number, 08000903878, also displays as being from the UNITED KINGDOM. They sound incredibly convincing, so please, if you happen to receive a call from these scammers, hang up immediately. It’s crucial to report them to the police and document it online as fraud. We need to take a stand against these crooks and do everything we can to see them brought to justice!
