I got a call about a loan but they wanted me to pay the first payment upfront before anything was given. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

I got conned out of £2000 by this so-called loan company. They said I was approved, then wanted me to pay a first instalment, which I did. After that, they told me to buy iTunes vouchers and send them the codes. I gave them that info, but then they kept asking for more cards, and it all ended up costing me £2000. I'm disabled, and despite that, they keep ringing me asking for even more money. The calls show they’re supposedly based in York, and another number they use is 08000903878. They sound quite convincing and the number shows as UNITED KINGDOM on my phone. If you ever get a call from these numbers, just hang up and report it to the police straight away. Also, make sure to file a fraud report online and get a crime reference number. We’ve got to help catch these scammers and stop them for good!
