Completely awful experience. They kept probing about my name and whether I owned the house, probably fishing to sell energy. Told them straight up that sales calls like that are not allowed. They refused to hang up or accept a no. Then they had the nerve to ring me back from a different number! Doesn’t matter how you dress it up, it’s just plain cold calling. Honestly, anyone doing this sort of job must be pretty desperate, if you can even call it a job at all.

I got a call from a place named CROWN GLAZING. When I asked if they were trying to sell me something, they said no. So, I rang the number back to check who it actually belonged to.

Got a call regarding double glazing, they said if my windows were over 10 years old they could send someone with a device to check their energy efficiency. When I mentioned I was tied up, they insisted they could drop by either today or tomorrow, even as late as 10pm. Honestly, it felt like they were just really eager to close a deal.

They keep ringing and don’t take no for an answer. If you tell them to stop, they can get pretty pushy. Best thing is just to hang up straight away and block the number if that option’s available.
