Got a silent call around 8.10 this morning, felt dodgy, probably a scam from overseas. Over the summer, I kept getting loads of calls from different UK numbers, all claiming my computer had issues. It was all rubbish though. Seems like they set these numbers up here in England but run the scam from abroad to trick people and steal cash.

We’ve been getting calls from this number pretty early in the morning, but when I pick up, there’s just silence on the other side.

some indian woman, really pushy and there was loads of noise in the background. she said she was from my internet company but couldn’t answer any of my questions - total scam, these phones crooks are everywhere!

Got a ring from this number around half past eight today. It was a woman with an Indian accent who was really loud and pushy. She started asking me about my internet service, but I just ended the call. Seems like it could be one of those scam calls, to me.
