Yesterday morning my mum got a call from a woman speaking with a thick Asian accent, saying she could help stop the annoying calls mum has been getting. Then a man jumped on the line asking for her bank card details and sorting code - they even knew her full name and where she lives. Mum told them she was in bed, and they said they'd call back in a few hours. That’s when she figured it was a scam. They phoned again this morning but when I picked up and said it wasn't mum, they just hung up. Really worrying scam going around.
