I got a call from some loan company called Freedom Finance. I told the person on the phone that I have no idea about any loan, but they just wouldn’t leave me alone. The advisor kept bugging me and even asked weirdly if we could be friends. Honestly, they were really unprofessional. Just a heads up, it’s best to block this number and be careful.

Answered the call and they just hung up straight away, most likely a spammer.

Had a call about some pension review thing, and when I asked how they got my phone number, they said it was from 118 118. I told them I don’t take unsolicited calls but they insisted I had given permission, so it wasn’t spam. Then when I asked to talk to their manager, they just hung up on me. Seriously, don’t pick up if they ring you!

I've got no idea who's behind that number. When I tried calling back, I was met with an American accent telling me to hang on, claiming my call was crucial to them. We decided it was best to just hang up.

Got a call from a hidden number, so I rang it back. The voice on the other end, with an American accent, said "please hold for the next available agent." Definitely sounds like a call centre.
