I received a rather dubious call from a so-called bitcoin application firm, insisting that I had signed up with them at some point - which is simply preposterous. I told the lady to "take a long walk off a short pier" and hung up, only for her to ring me back in no time, bellowing at me. Strangely, this time the caller ID displayed an Oxford number instead of the York one from earlier. To make matters even more peculiar, I've also been inundated with calls from Chesterfield linked to the same outfit. Quite the nuisance, I must say!
