At around 2pm today (4th September), I got a call from a bloke with a strong Asian accent claiming to be from Amazon. He said my free trial of Prime was about to finish and that they'd take £79 from my bank soon. I told him I wanted to cancel right away, but he said I needed to go on their website and enter details like my password. I told him I had no clue what it was, then he asked me to put in some 6-digit code for my iPad in a box on the site. That’s when alarm bells went off for me. The guy was also quite pushy, so I just hung up.

I'd avoid picking up calls from this number, it's just some daft scammers claiming "you've been in a car crash." I haven't had any accident, obviously. It's so frustrating having your time messed about like that. Seriously, how do they even get hold of your mobile number?
