At 13:52 today, I got my third call from this number. When I picked up, there was an automated message claiming to be from Openreach saying my broadband would be disconnected within a day. I’m on the TPS, my number’s ex-directory, and I’ve got a call blocker and phone privacy set up. Oddly enough, when I looked up the number, it came up as Sky’s voicemail. I haven’t had calls like this in ages until I recently paid my BT phone bill, so now I suspect BT might be sharing info that scammers are using to target people.

Cheers for the heads up! I had a nosey myself and found on ukphoneinfo[###] that the 01903 area code covers Worthing and nearby spots. However, this specific number isn’t within any assigned range. If you got a ring from it, chances are someone’s faking their caller ID. According to Ofcom, numbers beginning with 01903916 are blocked from being allocated. Sounds pretty dodgy to me!
