For a few weeks now, I've been getting calls from 01903 900112, apparently out of Worthing. I usually just let unknown numbers go straight to voicemail to sift out any important ones. This one never leaves a message, just keeps calling back. The last time I tried to pick up and have a word, they hung up on me immediately, which was a bit rude if you ask me. So, I decided to mess about a bit and rang them back about a dozen times in under a minute, hanging up each time after just a few rings. It was quite funny, really. Eventually, I blocked the number and after reading what others have said, I’m quite glad I did. Definitely not worth the hassle!

I got a call from a bloke claiming he was from AMG Law, saying he’d got my info from AIG insurance. He knew my name and address, plus some vague stuff about an insurance claim from the last few years. He couldn’t say exactly when though, maybe anywhere in the past six years. Felt like he was just trying to fish out more info. He also said I might be owed some money. Had a call from this number about a traffic accident. I looked them up with the ministry of justice to be sure it was legit. When I told them I wasn’t involved, the lady was really courteous and promised to try and get me taken off their records, plus she added a note to my account. She also explained the missed calls, saying the system keeps trying to reach you till someone picks up. Seems quite reasonable to me.

Some bloke called me saying there’d been an accident? When I told him no, he said that’s strange because everything should’ve been sorted. Not the first time I’ve had these kinds of calls. Tried calling three times but my phone never rang, rang them back but just got a busy tone. Added them to my block list now.

Got a call from a Worthing number, I picked up but it was dead silent on the other end.

I gave them my name when they asked but as soon as I did, the call just dropped. Definitely feels like a phishing scam.
