Got a call today asking for my boy. I told them Josh hasn't lived here for like 10 years. Josh kept arguing, saying he’d chatted with him just a few days back. The call from ASM was supposedly about my son's art stuff. We had a good chuckle and then I just ended the call.

I received an annoying phone call claiming to be from the legal department of an insurance firm, supposedly looking into my recent car accident. When I queried how they obtained my number, they insisted it was provided by the insurance company. I informed them that I find such unsolicited calls quite bothersome and mentioned that I'm on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). To my surprise, the caller resorted to foul language, dismissing my concerns and suggested I take it up with my MP or the ombudsman, as apparently, no one was interested in my complaint! I ended the call as he began to sound increasingly hostile. Is there an authority or organisation I could report this incident to?

As soon as I asked where they got the info from, they just hung up. The bloke on the phone called himself Joshua from PB Legal or summink like that. These sorts of calls are really annoying and honestly, someone should look into these firms and put an end to these cold calls.

I've encountered what seems to be a potential scam regarding car accident insurance.
