i got a recorded call telling me i HAD to upgrade my broadband or they’d cut my line off. sounded dodgy to me, definitely a scam. totally ignored it and no problems so far.

They called again today, but I just let it go to voicemail to filter who’s really calling. If it was something important, surely they’d leave a message, right?

Just got a call today from 01273 886590 - they said they were from Ofcom. Pretty sure it's just another annoying spam call.

The way they spoke was super pushy and just didn’t seem honest at all. Feels like one of those scams to me. I reckon it could be dangerous, especially for elderly folks or anyone who’s more vulnerable.

Today I’ve had four calls, coming from two separate numbers - this one and 01273 886590. If these are legit, what’s with one being from Worthing and the other Brighton? Bit confusing, really.

Had this happen to me too, got three calls today off 01903 817418 and another couple from 01273 886590. They said they were from Ofcom, mentioning some "boost your broadband scheme". They kept saying my line would be cut off unless I upgraded straight away, free of charge. Told me to stay on the phone to sort it. I’ve already let BT and Action Fraud know about it.

I attempted to ring back after receiving numerous missed calls, but the automated message informs me that this number isn't recognised. Quite puzzling!
