Someone rang claiming they were from Carphone Warehouse offering to upgrade my contract cheaper and cancel the old one. Seemed too good to believe. Told the person to ring back later. Then I called the actual Carphone Warehouse and they said it was likely a scam. The genuine rep said I should ask about contracts with 'Three' because Carphone Warehouse doesn’t work with them anymore. When the dodgy caller phoned again and asked if I wanted to switch to a Three contract, he said yes straight away. I said I knew it was a scam, and he just hung up on me.

The first time I actually got through, some woman from CW was on the other end but she couldn’t tell me jack about my account or phone (FYI I don’t even own one of their phones!). Dunno why they bother phoning if they’re not gonna say anything. This must be the fourth call I’ve had in the last couple of weeks, mad really!
