Received a pre-recorded message requesting me to verify an iPhone purchase. Just to clarify, I’ve never ordered an iPhone, nor do I even use one. Given that the call originated from abroad, I swiftly deemed it a phishing attempt or some other shady scam trying to fish for my financial details. Without hesitation, I ended the call and promptly blocked the number.

I’ve come across a troubling scam involving the misuse of national insurance numbers. It appears there are individuals out there attempting to exploit this sensitive information. Quite disconcerting, really!
