On the second call, after I said there was no reason to keep calling hoping to speak with the owner, the person said he’d have another go, then just hung up on me. They claimed it had something to do with our BT account.

So I've been getting calls from some company called UK Nrg, pretending to be British Gas. They kept telling me I should've got a letter from them, but I kept telling them I never did. They kept pushing saying my contract was up for renewal, which made no sense since mine isn’t due for another year. These calls are non-stop and honestly it’s getting really annoying. I checked out some info on this company and it all seems a bit dodgy to me. Wouldn't trust them if I were you.

Brad then started talking about a supposed ‘red flag’ on our British Gas account and warned us about potential issues. I didn’t call back, but I contacted British Gas myself and they said they’ve never come across any ‘red flag’ thing on accounts.
