I explained I’d just replaced my machine, and the bloke said I could switch the upgrade to a different appliance instead. I played along and said I’d ask my partner. Then he started asking for my bank info to secure the deal. When I said I didn’t have my card details handy, he kept pushing and then got quite rude, telling me to be truthful about why I wasn’t sharing my info. When I inquired about the name of the company, I couldn't quite catch it, but I made it clear that I wasn’t a customer of theirs.
