I had a rather dubious phone call, purportedly from BT, alleging that my internet usage was triggering multiple error messages on my router. When I requested to confirm the legitimacy of the number before revealing any personal details, the caller promptly hung up. I've since blocked the number, just to be on the safe side.

Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, said my router was showing loads of errors every time I used the internet. They asked for my personal info but when I said I'd call BT myself to check if they were legit, he just hung up. I've blocked the number now.
