Some guy called me, sounded like he wasn’t from around here, claimed he was from BT and said my internet was being hacked. Thing is, I don’t even have BT broadband at my place, so I told him that. He didn’t believe me and started threatening to come over and chop my head off with an axe. Proper scary and nasty call, made me feel really uncomfortable.

Woke up the entire house when the phone rang at half-past seven. I picked up but immediately ended the call. Honestly, I have no clue who it was or why they called. Very irritating.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT about my “internet”. Thing is, I don’t even have BT as my provider. The guy who spoke, called himself “Peter”, but he had a really thick Indian accent. Felt a bit off.

Got a call early morning at about 7:30, woke everyone up but when i picked up they just dropped the call. Now ive put this number on my blocked list so they cant bother me again.

I had a truly unnerving phone call the other day. Some bloke with a thick foreign accent rang, claiming to be from BT, telling me my internet wasn’t secure and that hackers were accessing it. He asked me to sit down at my computer so he could guide me through fixing it. Of course, I told him I knew he was full of it because that number isn’t even linked to BT or any broadband service here. We get loads of these scam calls and usually just ignore them. But this guy got aggressive, accusing me of lying and then started threatening to come round and chop my head off with an axe - and he kept repeating it! I told him that was a horrible thing to say and asked to speak with his manager, thinking maybe he was working from some call centre. He said there was no manager and I had to deal with him. I can’t imagine what would happen to elderly folk or anyone already feeling vulnerable if they got this kind of call. It must be terrifying. There needs to be a way to stop these awful people ringing random numbers, but I seriously have no clue how to make that happen!

Got a call a minute ago from this number claiming to be BT, saying my broadband was cut off. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam since I don’t even have any internet connection at all.
