FirstPlus, a member of the Barclays family, is linked to Fair N Square, which, let’s be honest, is an utterly baffling name given their tactics. We’re currently in a bit of a bind financially and owe them a few bob, but honestly, their relentless automated calling to pressure us into paying up feels rather over the top. We’ve made a conscious decision not to engage with that number, yet it seems to pop up on our call log more often than not.

I’m in the same boat; these chaps keep bothering us for a debt we’ve already sorted with a payment plan. They even tried to rope in Red Castle, but we told them to liaise with our debt management team instead. Red Castle ultimately washed their hands of the matter, and now 1st Plus is back at it, trying to harass us again. Honestly, best advice is to just ignore them completely!

This number seems to ring me incessantly, usually stopping just after a couple of rings, sometimes just two or three before it goes silent. Quite puzzling, really!

Over the course of the last week, our office landline has been getting calls from this number. I took the liberty of looking into the call log and discovered that they've been ringing us during the hours of 10:30 to 18:35. It's curious, though, we've never had more than a single call on any given day, and they don't seem to bother us on weekdays. However, they have taken it upon themselves to ring us at the weekends too. Each call is rather fleeting, which makes it all the more vexing!

This number has been ringing us incessantly, making calls at all hours, including a rather annoying Sunday afternoon. They tend to ring twice in quick succession before abruptly hanging up. Truly relentless, I must say!

In the last ten weeks, our phones have been bombarded with a staggering 13 calls from these muppets. They tend to ring us from around half eight in the morning until seven in the evening, and on occasion, we get up to three calls in a single day! Even weekends aren’t safe from their relentless pursuit. We’ve resorted to saving their number in our contacts as “do not answer” - we’re absolutely knackered from being hounded like this!

It's definitely a case of 1st Plus and their questionable ring technology. And I must say, when you finally manage to get in touch with someone, their demeanor leaves much to be desired. I’d suggest flagging this matter over to the TPS.
