Got a call from someone saying they were with BT Business, but there were weird noises in the background that made me doubt it. When I told them we don’t actually have BT, they sounded a bit taken aback. Not pushy or nasty or anything, just a bit odd overall.

A woman rang up saying she was from BT Business Group, and when I put the call through to my manager she repeated the same. But when we questioned her about it, she said she hadn’t mentioned that at all. She wouldn’t give us any company registration number and wasn’t keen on taking our info off their records either. We’re a tiny business and we’re signed up with the TPS.

Got a few calls recently from someone saying they're with BT and wanting to chat with the owner about the business account. Thing is, we don't even have a business account with BT! They wouldn’t let me leave a message or send any details by email either. Been ringing us several times over the past weeks. Not sure if it’s a scam or not, but I’m pretty doubtful it’s legit. I looked up the number online and it brought me to this website, nowhere official from BT, so... yeah, seems dodgy to me.
