Got a call from a bloke called Steve saying he was ringing from BT. He wanted to know if we use the internet at our workplace, what we do with it, and how many staff connect to it. After a bit, I realised he was actually on their sales crew, trying to push a direct internet access deal that costs a fortune every month. I told him straight up, we're just a small business and that kind of expense isn’t doable for us.
