01902925269 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 01902925269 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance cold caller claiming to offer complimentary or monitored home security alarms, often linked to dubious crime prevention campaigns. Callers frequently fail to check the Telephone Preference Service before contacting numbers, irritating those registered. The approach can feel pushy, with some alleging high-pressure sales tactics and concerns about misuse of personal information. While some find call handlers polite, many consider the calls intrusive and misleading, with no clear company identification and occasional silence tactics to feign legitimacy. Several reports mention filing complaints with the ICO and TPS due to data protection breaches. Overall, the number appears associated more with aggressive marketing than genuine crime prevention, advising caution and non-engagement.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Secure Home Systems, turns out they got slapped with an 80k fine by the ICO. They used a third party for the calls, which was dumb, cos the ICO targets the main company, not just the callers.

I got a call supposedly from someone working with the police on a crime prevention campaign. Honestly, I find it hard to believe the police would be involved in something that breaks data protection rules. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Got a call from someone pushing alarm systems!!!!! Told them we already have alarms and cameras set up. They just shut the phone right away!!!!!!!

Got a call trying to push alarm systems on me! Told them we already have alarms and CCTV set up. They just ended the call right after that! Ridiculous!

A really courteous woman called me about a home alarm system that’s monitored. I mentioned we’re on the TPS list, and pointed out she shouldn’t be ringing numbers that are registered there. She was quite apologetic and promised to have our number removed from their contact list.

Phone went to answer machine as I picked up, caller hung up straight away without leaving any message. Pretty sure it was just another annoying sales call.

Got a call from some marketing firm trying to pitch replacement windows and give me a quote. Not interested, so just told them thanks but no thanks.

They made it sound like some legit crime safety initiative and said I could get a free alarm. Only catch was this massive £299 charge just to have it fitted! Seemed pretty believable but they were definitely a bit too eager about it!

Was called about a so-called 'free' alarm system where you just pay for the fitting. Didn't bother checking my TPS status or even if we already had one. Ended up reporting them to the TPS.

Someone called me saying there was a crime close by, but I cut them off straight away. When I asked if they were actually the police, they said no. So I just hung up after that.

They don’t go by Safe & Secure for real, it’s just a front. They were ringing us out of the blue for another alarm firm. All our calls got recorded and we've already sent them over to Trading Standards and the ICO.

This number rang my mum recently and she thought the person calling was quite nice. Even when she said she didn’t want to buy anything, they were really polite about it.

For whoever tagged this number as ‘safe’ lately, maybe you’re not aware that cold calls are actually banned now. Saying ‘get a life’ comes off as both rude and condescending, especially to those of us who just want to keep our privacy respected.

Honestly, some of the stuff written here is a bit over the top. The folks from Safe and Secure are actually really friendly and polite. Seems like some people just love to make a big deal out of nothing or totally misinterpret things!

Had something similar happen. A woman called me saying she was with the Crime Prevention team for my town (she even used the name). She then asked if I owned my place. After that, I just hung up. We're on the TPS list and I've logged it with them too.

Got a call from someone pitching expensive home security stuff, probably way over the top. Even though I'm on the TPS list, it didn't stop them calling. Feels like being on TPS does nothing at all.

I just got a call where all I could hear was some heavy breathing on the answering machine. Seems like they're trying to trick you into believing it’s a call for you. It’s pretty unsettling how silent they stay the whole time. Feels like they’re trying out a new sneaky trick!

Absolutely, I experienced something similar. All I could make out was some odd breathing on the voicemail. It seems they're trying to lead us to believe it’s a friendly chat. Quite unsettling how they remain mute! Seems like a fresh strategy to me!

Got a call on 21st October from someone claiming to have a "free home security deal". No way that’s really free, and they wouldn’t say who they worked for. I told them we’ve already got security set up and ended the call pretty quickly.

Had the same number ring me, just with a different intro this time: "We're giving out free alarms to residents nearby as part of a crime safety initiative." Sure, that's believable.

finally a real wolverhampton number, not some dodgy fake one. but it’s from a business called safety and security based in wolverhampton, basically trying to scare you into getting their monitored alarm service. when i asked how they got my contact, they just said “head office - pulled it from a database” without giving more detail. he also confessed he hadn’t even checked if i was on the tps list. quite dodgy if you ask me.

We got a call from a lad called Lee, reckon he had a Brummie twang, said it was about our home security and that they were working in our neighbourhood. Told him we’re actually moving soon though. Oh, and we’re on the TPS as well!

If you want to have a chat, just leave a message alright? Don’t bother ringing and then just hanging up without saying anything, it’s a total waste of my time.

Got another call from them. Told them to check the TPS and to not ring me anymore. It’s a bit of a nuisance, not downright harassment - at least, not so far. Hopefully they stick to it. Safe and secure, they say, but still a pain.

Got a call from someone named Lee claiming to be from Safe Secure. He had a thick Liverpool accent which made it hard to follow what he was saying. When I asked where he got my number from, he said it came via a data provider. I told him my number is on the TPS register and he said he’d take me off their list. Does anyone know where their office is?

Got a call from someone saying they're doing home security visits nearby, asking if I'd like someone to come by. I told them we're on the TPS list, so they shouldn't be ringing us up. They just said they'd take my number off their list, but seriously, why was it on there in the first place?!
