Someone calling from BT kept getting in touch to check on my broadband speed. I gave up after they just disconnected on me. They’ve been trying to ring me quite a few times these past couple weeks.

The first time they rang I picked up but there was nothing but silence before they quickly ended the call. The next time, it showed up as an "international" number so I just left it. I've blocked them now, pretty sure it's a scam.

I got a call from someone claiming they were with BT. I said I worked there too, just to see what they’d do. Then they asked which department I was in. So I asked for their ID number, and they gave me a really dodgy one that made no sense. Definitely felt like spam to me.

This number kept ringing me yesterday and now it’s back today. The caller had an Asian accent every time. I told them I wasn’t interested and didn’t want to chat. One bloke even tried to say he was “ordering me to speak with him” - yeah, as if!

Got a call from a 01902 number the other day, but when I answered, there was nothing but silence, so I just ended the call. Lately, I've noticed quite a few calls coming from that code.

Just like a few others here, this bloke rang up pretending to be from BT, going on about issues with my internet. I decided to humour him a little, but he didn’t last long before cracking up when he clocked I wasn’t fooled. Sorted now though - he’s on my blacklist.

Some bloke calling himself Mark from BT rang me up saying there was dodgy activity on my internet. I just told him the only dodgy thing was him.

This number has called me a couple of times. The first time, I missed it and left a voicemail, but they never got back to me - my answering machine did pick up though and the caller just ended the call. When they rang the second time, I picked up but the person on the other end stayed silent and then just hung up.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be from BT, telling me there'd been several issues with my internet over the past couple of weeks. I wasn’t aware of any, so I asked for my account number. She gave me an incorrect one. Then I asked for my address, and she gave me a different one too - though it sounded a bit like where I used to live. I told her it was the wrong address and she just said sorry and hung up. Felt like a scam, maybe trying to push some dodgy service. Could be risky, so watch out!
