I just received a call from 01902849135, where a chap with a thick Indian accent was prodding me about renewing my Eon electricity account. When I inquired for his email address, he curtly replied that it wasn't necessary, refused to share anything, and promptly ended the call. The thing is, I don't even have an Eon account! Clearly a bunch of scammers at work here.

I recently received a call regarding the renewal of my EON electricity account, which has apparently lapsed. When I inquired about their email address for further correspondence, the caller, who had a pronounced Indian accent, abruptly ended the conversation. To clarify, I do not possess an EON account, so I suspect I’ve been targeted by scammers.
