Got a call from someone claiming to be from the visa security team. At first, a recorded female voice with a British accent said there’ve been suspicious charges on my visa card and to press 1 to speak to an agent. When I did, a bloke answered - an Asian guy - claiming he’s from visa security. He couldn’t tell me my card number or even which bank it’s linked to. All he seemed interested in was getting my card details so he could carry out the scam he pretended to be stopping. Very sneaky and obviously a fraud.
