So I got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk’s tech support, warning me about “tons of hackers from abroad trying to get into our internet.” Since I do have TalkTalk as my provider, it caught my attention, but it felt really dodgy. When I asked how I could be sure they were genuine, they just went quiet. Seemed like a scam to me.
