There’s a nasty scam shown on BBC 1’s ‘Scam Interceptors’, which airs on Monday nights and is also on iPlayer. Honestly, I reckon everyone with a bank account should watch it, it’s that important. It’s mad how many folks fall victim and have their accounts drained. If you think you’ve been targeted, definitely text 7726 to report it. Also, if your bank contacts you out of the blue, don’t take it at face value - ring them back on the number on your card but wait till your line is clear before you call.
