Early this morning at around 7:25, I was jolted awake by some lot calling me! I keep getting these annoying calls claiming to be from OFCOM, saying they need to test my Virgin internet speed. Honestly, it's so frustrating being disturbed by these muppets so early!

Picked up the phone and there was nobody on the other end. Seriously, who rings at 7:30 in the morning!?

Nobody said a word, then just ended the call.

Got a call bright and early this morning at 7:27, which was an unwelcome surprise. Had to sit through a long pause, about 20 seconds before anyone even spoke. Then a lady with what sounded like an Indian accent came on, thanked me for hanging on, and said she was from Ofcom warning me of a major problem with my internet connection. What nonsense! Loads of folks can see through these annoying scams, but there’s always vulnerable people who might get tricked and hand over private info or worse, bank details. It’s high time the government cracked down hard on these sorts of scams.
