I'm currently with O2 and I certainly don't share this number with anyone! They provide my broadband service. I plan to ring them up tomorrow to try and get this resolved-if they can't sort it out, I might just take my business elsewhere to a different provider!

Generally speaking, no one from India would call you unless they're after personal information or trying to pitch a product.
