Received a phone call today from someone who requested to speak to my husband, addressing him by name. I informed the caller of his passing, which has been the case for the last year and a half. Strangely, the caller seemed confused and insisted on clarification regarding my statement. They assured me they wouldn't reach out again, claiming to be from Advantage Surveys. When I politely declined with a 'no, thank you', she insisted it would help me save money and proceeded with the first question anyway! I quickly informed her that I wasn’t keen on participating, as I was aware that my responses would likely be sold on and lead to an avalanche of unwanted calls. She then wished me a pleasant day and abruptly ended the conversation!
