At precisely 3:21pm on the 6th of May, an intriguing situation unfolded when this number was answered. The very second the line connected, an 'operator' came on, declaring it was the police. My partner, rather perplexed, responded with a firm 'no' and was then instructed to hold. Fast forward about ten minutes, and there was a series of clicks before a woman came on the line, once more insisting it was the police. My partner reiterated his previous response, asserting that there must be some error, and clarified he had dialled the wrong number. How on earth does one arrive at such a convoluted mess?
