Keeps ringing and nobody ever answers, really frustrating. Looks like one of those annoying spam calls.

Got one of those silent calls again - have blocked the number now. Just putting this out there so folks know it's still happening in November, these muppets never stop. After a quiet few months, I've had scammers ringing me daily the past couple of weeks. I really wanna understand how they’re getting hold of our numbers - I barely share mine unless it’s with trusted folks like my doctor or close mates.

Got no clue who it is, I answer and nobody says anything. Got two calls on Wednesday arvo from 01902337969, then another two yesterday from 01375376592. Today, had two calls from 01638672012.

Absolute waste, probably a scammer. If anyone manages to find where he lives, let me know, I’m thinking of dropping by.

Got a call from some BT scammer with an Indian accent, pretending they were fixing errors - they kept ringing 24 of our office extensions (yeh, 24!). Lucky I was onto him before they got far. Bloody nasty lot!

I didn’t mention it before, but when I tried calling the number back it just wouldn’t connect. How come BT and the phone network even let this sort of thing go on?

Just a moment ago, a bloke rang me from what looked like a local number with a north west area code, said he was from BT. But he didn’t sound English at all, more like someone abroad and his English wasn’t great. He told me my internet speed was dropping fast and that he was calling about that issue. When I asked his name, he said it was Jim. I told him no way was he Jim and when I called him out, he hung up straight away. Definitely a scam, but I caught him off guard before he could explain himself.

Total rip off. Could barely make out what he was saying with all those other scammers shouting in the background. Honestly, I’m tempted to call him back just to annoy him a bit.

Classic broadband con artist trying to say there was an issue with my internet. I told him to give me his birthday and credit card info. You should have heard the nasty words he threw back at me. What a horrible, disgusting person.

This number has rung me up on my work phone two times within the last hour. The first time, they tried to pass off as BT. I didn’t entertain them long, told them we’re on the TPS, and hung up quick. When I tried calling back, it was just silent. Honestly, these calls need to be tracked down and those behind them dealt with properly.

Somebody said they were from BT and told me there was an issue with my internet. I’m with Virgin, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. They asked me to open Windows Event Viewer, but that didn’t work since I don’t use Windows. Then, after speaking to the supervisor’s supervisor, they wanted me to download TeamViewer onto my computer. I asked nicely what the point was, and they ended up calling me a MOTHERF##KER. I replied back in kind and ended the call. I’ve reported it to Action Fraud.

Got a silent call, the phone just cut off after a couple of seconds. Feels dodgy and definitely doesn't care about TPS rules.

I was having some issues with my broadband, so when this Indian lady called, I honestly thought she was legit. She told me they had to switch off the broadband for a whole day, and asked me to press control+fn+start keys. I just told her to jog on, nice and politely.

Just like others said, this Asian woman got really flustered when I asked her some questions. I told her I’d speak to my partner who works with the police and we’d try to sort out who was behind it ourselves!

Got a few calls from this number, a woman with a heavy Indian-Asian accent saying she’s from BT’s IT team, talking about my internet. She claimed someone was using my connection without permission and offered to help fix it. My internet’s already well protected, so I told her there’s no problem and hung up. She sounded a bit desperate, telling me my internet would be cut off if I didn’t stay on the line. I just ended the calls every time. So far, no disconnection or anything, lol, and I seriously doubt anything will happen.
