Received three calls from this number today. The caller said they were from TalkTalk and mentioned lots of issues with the internet. I told them I’m not a TalkTalk customer and hung up straight away.

Got a couple of calls this morning from someone saying they were with TalkTalk. They claimed there was an issue with my router and wanted remote access through my computer, which sounded dodgy. When I told them I only use an iPad, they said they could sort it themselves. I called them out as scammers and then they just ended the call.

Watch out, this is a total rip-off! Warranties UK isn’t actually registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, so they definitely aren’t allowed to be selling any insurance products. It’s just not legit, avoid them.

Got a robocall from something called "Warranties UK" about insurance for my washing machine, costing just 99p a month. I’m on the TPS list, so this was really annoying. This number is from Warranties UK, based in Wolverhampton, and it plays a recorded message when you answer. Pretty sure it’s just another spam call. Thought signing up to the TPS would stop these, but apparently not. They give you choices - press 1 if you want more info, or press 5 to be taken off their list or get disconnected. Fingers crossed that works and I don’t get any more of these cold calls.
