Got a call from someone claiming to be from Sky tech support about an internet problem. I told them I was about to head out and would call Sky back later, but they got quite aggressive, insisting it had to be fixed immediately and that I should get my laptop right away. Whenever this number pops up, I nearly always just ignore it. I only have it for online stuff, so when it does ring, which is hardly ever, I’m pretty sure it’s just some dodgy scam call.

I got a call from this number claiming to be Sky. Even though I'm with EE, they said they work alongside Sky. They asked for some details from me and then wanted me to input some info they’d give me. I told them to send me the details by email so I could fill it in personally. They didn’t seem too pleased and said they’d ring me again. Still waiting on that email now.

Got a call from this number, they said they were from Sky. The person wanted me to switch on my laptop so they could do some checks. I told them I'd ring back later, which seemed to annoy them a lot - kept going on about losing my internet if I didn’t comply. They even rang my landline, and that actually rang - first time I’ve ever heard it do that! I tried calling the number back but it was just dead. Total scam, best to ignore any calls from these guys.

Got a call from this number earlier today. I answered but stayed silent the whole time. After a bit, some robotic voice said "goodbye" and then they hung up. I left the call going until it ended on their side - figure if it costs them anything to ring me, I might as well make it last. Honestly, when will the authorities put a stop to these scams? It’s really upsetting that this kind of thing is still going on.

At 9.34 this morning, I got a call from 01902269003, which is a number based in Wolverhampton. Nobody I know is from there, so no clue why they were ringing me. When I answered, it was just dead silence.

Isn't it about time someone did something about these calls? I just got a call from this number claiming to be Sky tech support, and my mum has had two separate calls from people saying they were BT tech support, telling her there was a problem with our internet. I could see straight away it was a scam, but she didn’t, and it’s really upset her. Now she’s scared to answer the phone at all, worried she’ll get tricked. It’s just not on. Surely the real companies these scammers are pretending to be should be doing more to stop this and keep us safe.

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying he was from Sky, telling us our internet speed was slow and asked if we'd seen it ourselves. I told him my husband usually sorts that stuff out, and he snapped back with "Well then, put your husband on." Didn't expect Sky to be doing cold calls on a bank holiday, so I just ended the call.

Is it too much to ask for someone to deal with these annoying calls? I just got a ring from this number saying they were Sky tech support, and my mum has had a couple of calls from people claiming to be BT tech support, telling her there's a problem with our internet. This number’s phoned me a couple of times this week. I answered and told them in my most proper English accent that I’m PC Mandeep Singh from the Wolverhampton Police. They didn’t hang around after that, just cut the call straight away. Classic scammer move.

Got a call from a bloke saying he was from my internet company, Sky, but I’m actually with someone else. Pretty obvious scam straight away. This number rang me twice today. Looks like some foreign scammers pretending to be from Sky, telling me to run a program on my computer to 'fix my internet'. I decided to mess with them a bit, wasting their time - hopefully it irritates them and stops them from conning others. Eventually, he sussed out I was having a laugh and started hurling racist insults and calling me an illiterate idiot. Honestly, best few minutes I've had all day, and at least I stopped them from scamming someone else.

This odd woman from Africa called up, saying my Sky setup was messed up and she wanted to fix it. I just played along a bit, but then she asked if she could get into my computer to sort it out. I told her to jog on, no way was I letting that happen. The weird bit? We never share our number with anyone, yet she somehow knew my name. Proper strange!
