This number has been calling me quite a bit. The bloke on the line knew my name, which freaks me out since I’ve no clue who he is. He’s used different numbers though, I’ve been jotting them down as they come. Mostly, the calls come in the afternoon but once even on a Saturday. I know the voice from before and just cut the call straight away, it’s really unsettling. Seems like he’s figured out how to spoof the numbers or something.

I signed up with the TPS a good decade ago, yet these annoying calls just dont stop. Ive not been a homeowner for over 8 years now, which makes me wonder how out of date their contact lists must be.

So annoying, honestly. I told them I wasn’t interested and they still ring back the very next day. There really ought to be rules stopping these kinds of companies from doing this. You block one number and then they just use another to get through to you. It’s ridiculous!

Somebody rang me saying they were from Google, supposedly out of Texas. After I ended the call, she rang back twice, which felt a bit odd. She said my PC had been compromised and wanted me to enter a code she provided. Claimed she could actually see my computer was on, but it was definitely turned off then. Sounded pretty believable but definitely seemed dodgy. I asked why they bothered calling instead of sending an email. Not sure I ever shared my landline with Google anyway. They said I’d been emailed about it - which I definitely wasn’t. The number had a Wolverhampton dialling code.
