Got a call from a young lady, could hear loads of background noise like a busy call centre. She was asking for a family member about some kind of refund. I told her we don’t answer unexpected calls, she said alright, apologised and then hung up.

usually i just hang up on these kinda calls but this one was a bit sneaky so thought i'd share. they said it was about ppi and that banks haven’t paid out enough. they said there was no obligation and wanted me to confirm info but they asked in a really dodgy way so it didn’t seem like a scam! when they asked for my dob i said no way i’m giving that. the guy joked that all they could do is send me a birthday card - but they already had my address and maiden name! i just hung up. he tried ringing again but i blocked the number.

i got a call yesterday but wasnt home so they just hung up. this morning i called back and the message said my call was important or something and to hold on while they found the next free agent. they never said who it was or what it was about. after a couple of minutes of some awful scratchy music i just gave up and ended the call.

this lady picked up and had my full name, asked me to confirm it. i asked who she was and what she was after. she said she was from q group and wanted to talk about my claim. i asked if she even knew i had a claim. she said no. told her to quit bothering ppl and then i ended the call.
