When I don’t know the number, I just let it go to voicemail. My message says something like, "If this is a dodgy cold call, my other phone’s already dialing the cops, so please leave a message if you’re legit."

Got a call on my phone earlier but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. No way I’m calling back, gonna just block this number straight away.

I've been receiving calls from this number multiple times a day for the last few weeks now. It's becoming rather bothersome!

The call came from a Wolverhampton code. A woman, who strangely seemed to know my name, told me my washing machine warranty had expired. When I told her I wasn't sure about that, she just kept saying "Alright, alright, alright" before ending the call. I've blocked that number now.

This number rang me twice today but I couldn't answer. After seeing what others said about it, I'm gonna block it straight away.

I got a call from them and they were asking me a load of silly questions.

Honestly, one of the smartest moves I made was setting up caller ID on my phone. Now, if I don’t know who’s calling, I just don’t bother answering.

I picked up but they dropped the call straight away, probably hoping I'd ring them back. No chance!

I ignored the call because it seemed like a scammer claiming to be from the UK, but it totally wasn't. Honestly, just block these numbers without picking up, they’re no good.

Got a call from someone called Jonathan, said he was from homeshield direct or something like that. Told us I'd recognise them and would call back. My lad was the one who picked up the phone.

This number has been ringing me non-stop, like 3 times just in the last couple of days and loads throughout the month before that. I looked it up here and saw it’s from Moody, so I’m just ignoring it now. Cheers for the heads up!

Got a call from some lot claiming to be from Wolverhampton, kept pestering me about insurance for my washing machine. Then out of the blue, they phoned again saying my laptop was infected with a virus. I just rolled my eyes at that one - I haven’t even got a laptop! Such dodgy scammers, proper irritating.

Avoid these lot at all costs. They use a UK phone code to make themselves seem genuine, but it’s all fake. If you get a call from them, just cut off straight away. Don’t bother talking or answering any questions. Their game is to keep you on the line so they can mess with your phone, like putting bad software or spyware on it. I’ve heard they might be using other numbers starting with 0190 as well, so be careful.

Since Monday 18th February, I’ve had calls from this number 16 times. I’m on the TPS, so am wondering if I’ve got any legal grounds to pursue court action? Over the last two years, I’ve switched my phone number three times. Are they allowed to share my number around? Would appreciate any advice or info on this. Thanks, James.

Got a call from someone claiming to be about my washing machine warranty. They said it was expired and offered a £78 annual deal to reinstall it. Thing is, they had no clue what model or age my machine is, so how on earth did they know the warranty was up? Feels fishy to me, like some scam trying to grab info.

This number has rung me a few times ever since 2018, and every time I picked up, they just ended the call straight away.

They called while I wasn’t home, and I found my answerphone blinking with a message. When I played it back, all there was was a simple "goodbye." Honestly, how daft is that?! This has been going on more than once now and it's really annoying.

Got a call from a lady with a foreign accent, talking about a washing machine. Took ages for her to respond when I asked why she was calling. Told her she’d got the wrong number since I’m a washing machine engineer (didn’t say I’m retired though). Overall just a nuisance caller, really.

So this number has rung me like 3 times yesterday and then again today once. Each time, the bloke just blurts out my name straight away, but when I ask who he is, he stammers and takes forever to reply - I'm guessing he's thinking up some story on the spot.

I've received a call from this number for the second time today and have chosen to disregard it. I have a strong feeling it might be one of those dodgy scam calls.

This number has been calling me loads on both my phone and landline. How on earth do they even get hold of our numbers? Proper annoying. Some calls just get cut off, but other times they try to sell me insurance for my washing machine! I’ve told them I don’t even have insurance to renew and the washing machine works fine anyway. Just give it a rest!
