This number 019014537609 keeps ringing us but never leaves a voicemail. It’s driving me mad because my husband suffers from Parkinson’s, and we already get plenty of medical calls to keep track of. We really don’t need this added stress. Why aren’t these calls blocked or stopped?

Who even bothers with who’s calling anymore? No one really gives a toss, as long as the cash keeps rolling in. The officials? They couldn’t care less, probably cashing in on every scam that goes through. Phone companies? They’re just glad to be getting paid for the service. This site? Profit from adverts is the real game. All those devices meant to block these calls? Yep, making money too. And the politicians who promised to sort it out? Still nothing done. By now, I’ve lost count why I even bother trying.

Just had the exact same experience! There was that same noise in the background and the bloke sounded just like the one who called me before, talking about my broadband. Can't believe it!

Oh wow, something very similar just happened to me too. It was the exact same background noise and the guy sounded identical. He was chatting about my internet service as well. So strange!

Just had the same thing happen to me like loads of others who’ve said they got calls from this number recently. I don’t even use BT Openreach or have any issues with my internet. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now. Bit frustrating cos I’m signed up to the TPS.

this afternoon i got a call from an asian lady saying she was from bt and wanted to check on my internet. i told her i was fine and ended the call. blocked the number after that.

lol, just got a call like everyone's saying. some guy with an asian accent said he was from bt and wanted to talk about my broadband. i told him i’m on the telephone preference service list and he just goes “I don’t care about that”. then he hung up straight away, haha!

I got the Pro Call Blocker through Amazon and it’s honestly brilliant at stopping these annoying calls. kept getting calls saying there’s an issue with my BT Hub, which was so frustrating. I rang BT myself and they said they’re aware of this scam but can’t really do much because the calls come from overseas numbers. Definitely stay away from them!

this one cracked me up, got a call from some bloke with an asian accent claiming he's from bt openreach saying there's an issue with my computer - as if! i just hung up straight away. but he didnt give up and kept ringing. now whenever he calls, i pick up on speaker but stay silent - you should see how frustrated he gets. i'm at my desk all day anyway, so it’s a bit of entertainment waiting for him to finally lose it haha

Got a call from some bloke speaking with an Indian or Asian accent, claiming to be from BT Openreach about problems with my internet. I asked him to say it again, but as I did, he got really annoyed and started getting rude. I told him to take a hike and maybe try gardening instead, then I hung up.

Didn't pick up when 01901 4537609 rang me earlier 'cos I wasn't sure who it was. They didn't leave any voicemail either, so still clueless!

Answered my phone and some bloke with an Asian accent was there, asking how I was this morning, with the noise of a busy call centre in the background. I told him I was pretty annoyed since my number is on the Telephone Preference Service, so technically he wasn’t allowed to ring me. Suddenly, he cut in with, “motherf###r, motherf###r, listen up.” I was like, “wait, did you just call me that? Who do you think you are?” then he just hung up on me.
