This could very well be a dodgy operation. They claimed to represent BT Openreach, but I have my doubts about their legitimacy. It felt like they were fishing for a way to get into my laptop, especially when they insisted I install some software for them to “sort out” my device from afar. Best to steer clear!

I got a call on my landline that looked like it was from my area, they said it was from BT Openreach. But I’m pretty sure it wasnt them. They tried to get me to let them into my laptop or phone or something. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
