I received a rather dubious call from a local number that set off alarm bells right away. It was a pre-recorded message that claimed there was some strange goings-on with my credit card. Didn’t identify who was on the line and provided zero details about their identity. I decided to verify things with my bank, and they reassured me there were no irregularities to be concerned about. Clearly, just another attempt by scammers to pull a fast one.
