I got a call from a guy who sounded like he was reading off a script, thick accent and all, couldn’t get my last name right. He was asking for my husband, but I told him we’re registered on the no-call list and don’t want to be bothered with these calls. Then I just hung up. About half an hour later, the same number rings me back, but when I pick up, there’s nothing but silence. Proper annoying!

Apparently, they’re not even allowed to use the loo or take a proper lunch break.
