I got a call from a guy who sounded like he was reading off a script, thick accent and all, couldn’t get my last name right. He was asking for my husband, but I told him we’re registered on the no-call list and don’t want to be bothered with these calls. Then I just hung up. About half an hour later, the same number rings me back, but when I pick up, there’s nothing but silence. Proper annoying!

I picked up and the person on the other line just cut off the call immediately.

Got a call from a guy who said he’s Asian and that his boss actually locks him and the others in a room if they don’t hit their targets, not even letting them have lunch or go toilet. I was so taken aback I just told him to stash some snacks in his pockets and maybe think about wearing a nappy! Hope that helps, whoever you are.
