They claim they’re calling from Galashiels and use a local number, but I’m well aware of phone number spoofing tricks. I’m pretty sure these aren’t bank employees at all - they’re trying to scam you out of your cash. Hang up immediately and ignore any directions they try to give. Even contacting your bank afterwards might be risky if they keep the call connected to watch your moves. It’s really sad that some folks choose to make a living by ripping others off.
