Got a call from 01895088584 again, so i thought i’d mess around a bit. They put me through to someone called Christopher Angel, but i chose not to chat and asked nicely for no more calls. Then he rang me back from 01582240843 sounding proper annoyed that i’d hung up. After that, he phoned three more times swearing at me. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from this number and it started with a robotic woman’s voice, but then some guy with a South African accent cut in. He asked for my car registration, full name, address, and email, claiming he’d been contacted by some RDA or RTA organisation (couldn’t quite catch it). He said there’d been an accident and wanted me to explain what happened so I could claim compensation. Total nonsense, I’d just ignore and block the number if it rings you. If you’re in a crash, it’s your insurance company that’ll get in touch about any claims, not some random caller like this.

I've also tried to block marketing calls through my network provider, but they still manage to come through. Some automated voice, called Danielle White, rang me and when I asked where they got my number from, the message just kept repeating itself. I've blocked the number now, and if they ring again, I'll leave it on and just get on with my work - might as well make them pay for the call! If this is how things are headed with AI taking over, it’s a grim outlook. No one’s going to be able to tell what’s legit and what’s not, and that’s really worrying.

Danielle White, who seems really busy, rang me from 01895 155562. She said the company’s name and then just cut off. Naturally, when I tried calling that number back or any of the other ones mentioned, they wouldn’t pick up. One message even told me to ring 118018. I’ve also registered for the do-not-call list and yet I got this call on my work phone, which should be well protected!

Some woman rang me from this number, supposedly from uxbridge (definitely an online dialler since you can't ring back) talking about a "non fault accident I supposedly had". I don't even own a car, never had an accident or made any claims, so it's obviously a con.

These cold calls are such a pain and honestly should be banned. I can just hang up and block the number, but I reckon they’re really upsetting people who can’t handle it. I always ask them to take me off their calling list, which I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to do, but then calls come through from different numbers - coincidence? I don’t think so.

I then asked what company they were calling from because if they had all that info and were ringing me, surely they’d already know the details.
