My mum, who’s quite old, got a call about renewing some warranty on her washing machine. They wanted her bank info and asked if anyone might mess with the payment stuff. When she started to get a bit iffy, they got a bit rude and then handed her over to some ‘manager’. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

There's this so-called home insurance outfit calling itself "Cover Advise". Total scam - they've even set up a bogus website to trick people. The number they use is 123456789 and give out some fake address like ABC 123 Road. Completely dodgy!
