i posted something here before about a woman and a “22 years in IT” bloke being total muppets. well today i got a call from 02073009747 and it was a couple of clueless blokes trying the same rubbish. so, i just played along and made sure they wasted loads of time. they and their mates keep ringing me, but i just keep chucking their time and phone credit down the drain :)

Just have a look at the other comments and don’t pay them any mind, it’s best to report the scammers straight away.

Got a call from this number claiming to be TalkTalk, but it’s definitely a scam. Just some rubbish scammers trying to con folks. Don’t share anything with them - best thing is to just hang up and put in a complaint.

I received a rather dubious call today, claiming that my broadband with BT was set to be cut off unless I pressed 1 to cancel the disconnection. The thing is, I don’t even have BT, let alone the internet at home! Seems like just another scam attempt to me!

got called twice by 01895626358 in less than an hour. didn’t pick up either time as i don’t answer numbers i don’t know. if you get calls like that, best to ignore and check if they’ve left a voicemail before deciding anything. definitely don’t ring back; sounds like one of those dodgy scam calls to me.

Got a call from this number earlier, with a recorded voice saying my internet was about to get cut off today. I hung up straight away and called BT on their official 0800 number. They told me it’s a known scam doing the rounds just like this. They warned me not to call those numbers back but to always contact them directly. Turns out, everything’s fine with my account and the broadband isn’t stopping at all. Total scam, don’t fall for it!
