Got a call from some bloke claiming to be BT tech support, said my internet would be turned off in a day cos they found hacking on my router. It sounded like one of those dodgy robot voices. They tried to get me to push certain buttons on my phone. Felt really off.

Got a voicemail saying it was BT warning me about some illegal activity on my phone line. They said if I didn’t sort it out in a day, my line would be disconnected. The message said to press 1 to talk to a tech person, sounded pretty suspicious to me.

Got a call with a recorded voice pretending to be my ISP warning that my internet was about to be cut off. They said to press 1 to avoid it. Seriously, don’t press anything! It’s a total scam!
