I've been getting loads of calls from a call centre that sounds like it's from BT. If you want to put a stop to them, try going to [spam website] and signing up with your info. It worked for me, so might help you too.

Called by a scammer.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from BT security, saying there was some kind of security alert on my router and they needed to send a tech round. I said that’s fine, got her number and told her I’d double-check with my actual provider first and get back to her - then the call just dropped out! Another scam, no doubt. Watch out folks, these scammers are still about!

He said he worked for BT, but that’s not who my internet’s from. Total scammer, really dodgy.

They keep ringing saying they're from the internet company, claiming there's issues with our connection. Thing is, our internet works perfectly fine, so it's clearly a dodgy call every single time these muppets get in touch.

I didn’t pick up at all! I’m not a BT customer, but since I’m with EE, maybe it’s connected to that? Possibly something about BT owing EE? Who knows!

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent saying he was from BT, saying there were some dodgy issues with my phone line and internet. Problem is, I don’t even have a BT line or internet service. He went on about a fault with the router linked to my laptop or PC, neither of which I’ve got. That seemed to throw him off a bit, and he just ended the call. I reckon he was trying to get into my internet or something to nick info. I rang the number back afterwards and it said “number not recognised.”
