Got a call saying it was Talk Talk tech support, warning that my service would be cut off today unless I pressed 1. Seems like TalkTalk users are really being targeted by scammers right now. Does anyone know if TalkTalk are doing anything to stop this?

I received a robo-call claiming to be from Ofcom, telling me my internet was being used fraudulently and would be cut off soon. When I spoke to a person on the line, they said my connection was being hacked and would be disconnected within 14 days. I asked who they were and they said BT Broadband. I found that odd since I’m not with BT, so I asked how they could cut it off. They hung up on me straight away. I rang my actual internet provider and they confirmed it was a scam. I’ve reported the number to them. Watch out for these scammers!
