The line was really bad, I could barely make out the woman’s voice. After a while, I caught the name Smith's Care Services and they said something about a car accident. I don’t own a car, never had an accident, and they didn’t even know my name. Plus, I never gave them permission to ring me, so this felt like a proper nuisance call to me.

If you’re curious how these people get your info, I reckon it’s probably from your phone company since, apart from mates, nobody else should have your digits.
